The Hokema Kalimba B7 is the 'sister' of the B9 and is likewise a small and handy kalimba with a solid resonance body of American Cherrywood with stainless steel parts, refined development and clean tuning. The measurements of both instruments are the same but the B7 is not only tuned differently, but its tines are also wider, which makes the tones deeper. It goes down to deep E, the lowest kalimba note we sell! A pleasure to play. The magic of playing this kalimba and her sisters is resulted from the fact that the vibrations of the tines is significantly felt in the hands of the player and thus the sounds are transmitted into his/her body and bestow a magic peaceful feeling. However due to the deeper tones of the seven pentatonically-tuned tines, the vibrations of the B7 are stronger. For this reason, the B7 is especially favored by therapists, who place the kalimba to the patient's body whilst playing (especially to hard areas like joints etc.). The tuning of the Kalimba B7 is pentatonic C. The sounds produced are therefore always in harmony and the playing is easy and intuitive, so beginners also enjoy immediate success with this instrument. The sound of the instrument can be significantly amplified by placing it on or sticking it onto a tabletop, the skin of a drum or any sounding board. Returns

Our policy lasts 14 days. After 14 days of the date of your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items:

  • Books, Cd's and magazines are non-returnable.
  • Downloadable software products
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after purchase date.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so choose carefully.

If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at accounts@shearersmusic.co.nz.

Sale items 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges 

If the goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantee Act to provide a solution.

We only replace items if they are damaged or unfixable. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at accounts@shearersmusic.co.nz and send your item to:

Shearers Music Works cannot accept cancellation for product that has to be imported specially at the customer’s request. A deposit may be required at the time of order, and these products can only be returned if the product is faulty or does not conform to the product specifications.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a track and trace service so that you can track your returned item to us.
