Introduced in 2018, the KX Series multi-scale guitars have made headlines as being the most versatile and solid workhorse guitars for extreme guitarists. The KX307 Multi Scale features the same quality and features of multi-scale, multi- string guitars that Cort is known for in a more approachable package including 25.5” - 27” multi-scale frets with neutral fret in the 8th position, all-mahogany body with roasted maple neck and fretboard, and specially designed PowerBar pickups that churns out explosive high output evenly across all seven strings.

7-String Multi-Scale (25.5” – 27”)

Get tight and punchy low-end for the low-B and low-E strings with the extended scale length while maintaining the familiar feel and tension on the treble strings for speedy runs and string-bending. The neutral fret is in the 8th position for a more natural spread angle of the frets, ensuring better playability even on the lower frets.

Mahogany Body

Mahogany body produces a warm and deep resonance that’s perfect for low-end growl associated with KX307 Multi Scale.

PowerBar Humbucker Set

The PowerBar pickups are passive bar-type humbuckers that are specially designed for multi-string guitars. Fully articulate and responsive, the PowerBar pickups are designed to ensure even and balanced output across all seven strings while boasting explosive high output that’s most suited for modern extreme music.

1 Vol & 1 Tone, 3 Way Switch

Sometimes simplicity is all that a player needs to get the musical point across. One volume pot and one tone pot with 3-way pickup selector keeps it clean and simple and allows the player to focus on the music.

Roasted Maple Neck & Fretboard

By treating the maple wood in an oxygen-free oven at a high temperature, the wood stabilizes and develops a golden-brownish look for enhanced stability, a big bolder tone, as well as a more luxurious vintage look.

Individual Hardtail Bridge

Individual hardtail bridge allows each string to feed through the body, resulting in greatly improved sustain, superb string separation for greater articulation and precise intonation.

Spoke Nut Hotrod Truss Rod

The spoke nut Hotrod truss rod ensures smooth and precise setting of the neck bow. Often overlooked by many guitarists, the neck bow (or relief) is very critical for the best possible playability. This spoke nut truss rod adjustment feature allows the player to dial in the exact amount of neck bow depending on the player’s technique and playing style.

Returns

Our policy lasts 14 days. After 14 days of the date of your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items:

  • Books, Cd's and magazines are non-returnable.
  • Downloadable software products
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after purchase date.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so choose carefully.

If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at accounts@shearersmusic.co.nz.

Sale items 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges 

If the goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantee Act to provide a solution.

We only replace items if they are damaged or unfixable. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at accounts@shearersmusic.co.nz and send your item to:

Shearers Music Works cannot accept cancellation for product that has to be imported specially at the customer’s request. A deposit may be required at the time of order, and these products can only be returned if the product is faulty or does not conform to the product specifications.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a track and trace service so that you can track your returned item to us.
